Own a Certified
Tattoo Suites
location.
Private, lockable suites that tattoo artists and body piercers license by the month, under a brand they already trust. We built and run the first one in Colorado Springs. In 2027 we plan to partner with business owners and investors to open the next ones. You do not need to be a tattoo artist. You need capital, a market and the will to run a great building.
This page is not an offer to sell a franchise. An offer can only be made through a Franchise Disclosure Document, in states where one is registered or exempt.
Flagship · 3725 Drennan Rd, Colorado Springs
The model
Salon suites, built for the tattoo community.
Suite concepts changed hair and beauty by giving stylists their own room instead of a booth. Tattoo artists and body piercers want the same thing: their own door, their own clients, their own prices. Certified Tattoo Suites is that building, run by Certified Tattoo Studios: four Colorado locations, twenty years in, the highest rated tattoo and piercing shop in the state.
How a location works
- A building divided into private, lockable suites, each with its own sink, plus shared sterilization, consultation and print rooms.
- Artists and piercers sign a twelve month license and pay one flat monthly fee with utilities, internet, the shared sterilization and print rooms and 24/7 keyless access included.
- Suite owners are independent businesses. They keep 100% of what their clients pay them. The location earns license fees, not a cut of tattoos.
- Certified Leads, the Certified app and the Certified name bring clients through the door for the artists, which is what keeps suites full.
Why a franchise, not a copy
- The Certified brand has been the highest rated tattoo studio in Colorado for years. Artists know it, clients search for it.
- Health department compliance for tattooing is not the same as for hair. Our suite spec, sterilization room and sink layout already pass inspection.
- The recruiting, tour and onboarding system we use to fill suites is documented, automated and ready to hand over.
- Certified Tattoo Academy trains artists, and graduates need somewhere to work. Your building is where they land.
Who it is for
The partner we are looking for.
Business owner or investor
You have built or run a business before. Real estate, salon suites, fitness, hospitality or multi-unit retail all translate. Tattoo experience is not required.
About $500,000 liquid
Suites, sinks, the sterilization room and finishes are built before the first artist moves in, and a building takes months to fill. We will share what the flagship took to open in the kit.
A building, or the ability to lease one
Commercial space with room for a lobby, shared rooms and a run of private suites. Plumbing per suite matters more than square footage. We help you evaluate it.
A manager in the building
You or a manager you trust runs tours, move-ins and the community of artists day to day. The recruiting, booking and follow-up systems are automated, so the job is hospitality, not sales.
What you get
Everything we built at the flagship, handed over.
Before you open
- Site and layout review: which buildings work, how many suites fit, where the sinks and sterilization room go.
- The suite spec: sizes, finishes, lighting, keyless access, furniture and the compliance checklist your health department will ask for.
- Suite License Agreement, house rules and move-in checklist, the same documents in use at Drennan.
- Training at the Colorado Springs flagship with Nando Mondragon and the front desk team.
After you open
- Certified Leads and the Certified app: clients booked to the artists in your building under the Certified name.
- The recruiting system: ad campaigns, the website, tour scheduling, follow-up and onboarding, already automated.
- Pricing, suite mix and marketing playbooks, updated as the flagship learns.
- A brand artists already follow, and a network of locations they can move between.
We do not make claims about what a location will earn. Financial performance information, if any, will be provided only in Item 19 of the Franchise Disclosure Document.

FAQ
Questions operators ask.
Can I buy a franchise today?
No. We plan to offer franchises in 2027 once the Franchise Disclosure Document is complete. Right now we are building a list of partners and markets.
What will it cost?
The franchise fee, build-out range and ongoing fees will be published in the FDD. The kit includes the flagship's build story so you can see what a location like Drennan took to open.
Do I need tattoo experience?
No. Most of the people we want to talk to are business owners and investors, not tattoo artists. You need capital (about $500,000 liquid), a building or the ability to lease one, and a manager in the building. The tattoo side, from compliance to recruiting artists, is what the system and training cover.
What markets are you looking at?
Cities with a strong tattoo community and few private-suite options. Tell us your market in the form and we will tell you what we think.
I am an artist looking for a suite. Wrong page?
Yes, but the right building. Go to certifiedtattoosuites.com to see pricing and book a tour in Colorado Springs.
